Industrial IoT Monitoring & Control
Your assets, one pane of glass — on infrastructure you control.
GFGPower builds, hosts and supports industrial IoT platforms for solar PV, battery storage, microgrids and large infrastructure. We unify mixed-OEM equipment into a single real-time view — and because we own and host the stack ourselves, you are not locked into anyone's cloud.
Modbus · CAN · BACnet · DirectIO · REST APIs — unified, normalized, and secured at the edge.
The Platform
From field device to decision
Edge acquisition, normalization, secure transport, and operator-grade dashboards — engineered for retrofit into plants that already exist, not just greenfield builds.
Universal Connectivity
Connects inverters, meters, BESS, trackers, sensors and balance-of-plant across mixed OEMs and protocols — Modbus, CAN, BACnet, DirectIO and external APIs.
Edge Intelligence
Time-stamps, validates and standardizes data at the edge, so what reaches your dashboards is clean, consistent, usable telemetry rather than raw noise.
Secure by Design
Encrypted transport, role-defined access, and customizable view controls — so each team sees exactly what it should, and nothing it shouldn't.
Actionable Alerts
Threshold and anomaly-based alerting routed to the right people, so faults surface while they are still cheap to fix.
Operational Insight
Real-time and historical dashboards, reporting and trend analysis — built around O&M workflows, not generic BI tiles.
Built for Retrofit
Compact, DIN-rail mountable, outdoor-rated gateways engineered for fast deployment into operating sites with equipment already in place.
What Makes Us Different
Independent by design
Most monitoring offerings resell someone else's cloud. Yours then lives or dies by their pricing, their roadmap, and their outage page.
- ✓We hold a full commercial licence for our platform core and run it on our own servers — not a reseller seat on shared infrastructure.
- ✓Two years of engineering have made the stack portable, so the platform is no longer bound to any single vendor's hosting.
- ✓Deploy where it suits you — our infrastructure, your data centre, or your own cloud tenancy.
- ✓Your data stays yours, in a known jurisdiction, on infrastructure you can audit.
- ✓White-labelled to your brand, so the platform reads as your operation, not ours.
Why it matters
Energy assets run for twenty-five years. Monitoring contracts rarely do. When a SaaS vendor changes its per-device pricing, sunsets a product line, or is acquired, an operator locked into that platform absorbs the cost — usually in the middle of an O&M season.
Independence is not a technical detail. It is what lets you keep your monitoring strategy on your own timetable, and move it if the commercial terms stop working for you.
Outcomes
What operators get out of it
Visibility
Real-time and historical data across the entire portfolio, in one view — instead of one login per OEM and a spreadsheet holding it together.
Reliability
Detect degradation and faults early, and keep systems performing near their design intent rather than discovering losses at year-end.
Reduced O&M Risk
Data-driven maintenance planning that prevents avoidable failures and shortens the ones that do happen.
Portfolio Ready
Standardize operations and scale the same models, alarms and reports across sites, regions and asset types.
Track Record
Built by people who have run the plant
GFGPower is not a software team that discovered energy. The platform is the product of decades of designing, commissioning and remediating real electrical systems.

Field Case Study
Recovering a failed Alencon installation
A California renewable-energy site was facing wholesale replacement of its DC-DC optimisation hardware after the controller failed. Replacement was not the only option.
The situation
One Alencon PODD controller and two SPOT DC-DC optimizers, offline. With the controller down, the site had lost monitoring and control over its string-level optimisation entirely.
What we did
Reconstructed the PODD firmware and operating environment, worked through the requirements of the existing control hardware, restored communications with both SPOT units, and re-established monitoring and system control.
The outcome
The installation was returned to service without a full hardware replacement — a failed controller does not have to mean replacing an entire Alencon deployment.
